Cardiac vessels: Also known as the coronary vessels, are a complex network of arteries and veins that supply oxygen and nutrient-rich blood to the heart muscle while removing waste products.
Cardiac arteries: These are the two main vessels that branch off from the aorta. They originate from the aortic sinuses and follow a course along the atrioventricular groove.

Cardiac veins: These are a network of veins that drain blood from the heart’s muscle (myocardium) back into the right atrium.
Coronary sinus: The main vein of the heart, it collects blood from the cardiac veins and empties into the right atrium.
Anterior cardiac veins: Small veins that drain the anterior surface of the right ventricle directly into the right atrium.
Smallest cardiac veins: Also known as Thebesian veins, they are minute veins that drain directly into the heart chambers, mainly the right atrium and right ventricle.
