Cardiac Vessels

- Cardiac vessels: also known as the coronary vessels, are a complex network of arteries and veins that supply oxygen and nutrient-rich blood to the heart muscle while removing waste products.
- Cardiac arteries: Are the two main vessels that branch off from the aorta. They originates from the aortic sinuses and follow a course along the atrioventricular groove.
- Cardiac veins: These are a network of veins that drain blood from the heart’s muscle (myocardium) back into the right atrium.
